Our state-of-the-art therapeutic equipment includes an Elekta Synergy high energy linear accelerator for delivery of radiation treatments. To accurately set up the treatment parameters, a Philips Brilliance Big Bore Oncology CT Scanner and treatment planning computer system are utilized on site. Customized treatment devices, customized blockoing multi-leaf collimator, customized immobilization devices, face masks, partial and full body cradles and molds. These devices are customized to fit the treatment needs of each patient.
Through the course of treatment, patients receive counseling on nutrition, general health and management of possible side effects from the treatment. We coordinate the patient's care with treatment received at other health care facilities and work closely with the patient's primary care physician to coordinate a personal care plan for recovery. After treatments are complete, patients are referred back to their primary care physician. Follow-up care provided by the Radiation Oncology department will continue as recommended by referring physician.
